A short diagnostic for photographers

The eye and
the hands.

Photography asks two different things of you.

First, that you understand what you're trying to see: the moments, ideas, people, or images you keep reaching for.

Then, that you know how to make the camera follow: how to handle light, motion, depth, composition, and the edit when the decision has to happen now.

This isn't a grade, and it isn't a permanent label. It's a picture of where your instincts and your skills are today.
